Hotkey for Toggling Discrete Movement

So obviously everyone knows 'x', 'v', and 'c' but I keep accidentally activating discrete movement by TOGGLING it with some hotkey and then it's always on (this is not a press and hold hotkey). Anyone happen to know that one? I obviously know about 'j' but that's a press and hold hotkey...it doesn't activate the setting or deactivate it by just pressing the button. It's really annoying...

This could be just maya forgetting to run the release command when you click j. I have the same problem with x (grid snap). Seems to happen most when I'm doing things quickly, which, I agree, is very annoying, since thats when you expect hot-keys to just work.

Damn...I was hoping that wouldn't be it but it makes total sense what with how often I switch from hotbox/marking menus/hotkeys while dragging my mouse. Thanks!

I've been wondering this same thing forever. Thanks for clearing that up David.

Just remove the hotkey in the hotkey editor, how often do you use it by purpose anyway
