I'm sorry I cannot help you choosing an online course since I have no idea what's going on there.....if you could find the book I recommended, that's a source of information I can recommend without hesitation.

If you got some money to spend I can highly recommend the animator friendly rigging bundle by Jason Schleiffer. I think it's about 100$ but it's really great t learn and understand rigging. It's a bit old but the concepts are still very true today. I learned a lot from it.
