texture on model does not match UV map.

Hi, I'm a big ol' noob working on my first human model and I've run into a snag that I can't seem to find any information on.
I'm just working on getting her hair together so I threw together UVs just to get some basic colors on there to see how it would look.
Hopefully you can see what's going on from this screenshot, brown color from the hair is showing up in random places on the body when I definitely don't have any brown parts of the texture touching those parts of my UV map.

When I export and put the model into Photoshop or Unity the texture appears normally so it's just when I view or render in Maya that it appears this way.

Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Check the "UV set" in the UV editor window, do you see more than 1 set in there?

Thank you so much! Looked like I had some old UV maps hanging around, getting rid of them fixed the problem.
