Wait for viewport textures to load?
Any help on this would be hugely appreciated.
We're using a batch playblast MEL script to open a series of scenes and generate playblasts. It's all relatively simple, but the files use a lot of external references, and viewport textures take a good while to load.
When we're manually playblasting, we just hop from frame to frame and let the textures load, then run the playblast.
We tried to emulate this by moving the time slider 25 frames, pausing for 10 seconds, rinsing and repeating.
When we use the pause command, it doesn't seem to let the textures load, most of them stay white.
Any way to force maya to load all textures in viewport? Or to actively 'wait' for them to load?
Any insight would be fantastic!
