Question Viewport 2.0 DirectX11 shader & imageSequence

hello all,

I've noticed that when trying to use images texture sequences with the Directx11 shader's >Diffuse parameter, the sequence (name.000.ext) does not play..

But works on blinns in viewport 2.0

Do anyone have any luck getting image sequence textures to work on directX11 shaders?

Hi Jason,

The DirectX11 plugin in Maya only uses the "texture filename" of a file node in Maya to use that texture in the shader.

It does not attempt to acquire a texture from the file node (or sequence of nodes).

So, the way it is currently implemented, this would not work for anybody.

it's a bit of a set up indeed, I really like the shader's level of ctrl.
