Cannot make a connection to a joint's drawStyle attribute
Yep, that should be "drawStyle"... (not "displayStyle)
I'm trying to make a connection from an attribute on my control handle to a joint's "drawStyle" attribute. But when I try it with mel or python I get the following error...
# RuntimeError: The attribute 'joint1.drawStyle' cannot be connected to 'ctl.jointDisplay'. #
And I can't see the drawStyle attribute in the connection editor.
Does anyone know what makes this attribute not connectable?

Hmm that's weird.. it just doesn't want to be connected to.
Maybe it's because the children are effected? I dunno but it won't take. You could possibly use an expression to setAttr
blah blah blah
