Empty Uvs

Is there any .mel script that will search anything with empty uvs and then give it a set?

I have this Ferris Wheel and it's the pits. It has no uv's. Tons of objects. I have a deadline soon and there is no time to go in and manually put in the uvs.

Do you need all the objects properly mapped and layed out, or they just need anything so there is a uvset? If the latter, you should be able to just select all the objects and do an automatic UV projection. Otherwise if you have a whole bunch of similar objects (bolts or something), you can unwrap one of them, and use mesh>transfer attributes to transfer the UVs. Keep in mind the geometry would have to be identical for that to work.

Well I can't really because the way I textured it looks good and everything that was unmapped will then be mapped and I don't have time to change it.

I don't think the render farm will output anything without a uvmap on it is the thing.

So you can't selectively choose all the bits with no uvset? Or I guess that's your real issue, is that you have so many pieces that you want a script to automatically find all the pieces missing uvs.
