Maya - Outdoor Light Rig

Hey Forum!

I'm a freelancing animator and not familiar with outdoor lighting sets.
I need a light rig for the entire outdoor set (ambient light, fog, light dome etc.), is there anyone who is interested to create something like that for my production?
I would pay of course, I also have a workflow footage for comparison.

For more details:

Best Regards, UnknownFreelancer.

Have you ever tried playing around with physical sun and sky? You would need to use Mental Ray in that case.

Of course, but the the rendertimes are way to high for this kind of production.
There is no time to set up a full lighting system with a correct skydome everytime.

if there is no time how else could you get it done the fastest way would be to use physical sun or just use a directional light with some area lights, who ever is pressing to have this done in no time needs to get a reality check. if quality is of no concern then hack at with low settings.
how large is the scene that the render times with physical sky is that high you should be getting 2-3min a frame if not faster I'm not sure what your set up is Im guessing at this point ha
