only Backfaces visible in Render Passes
I'm experiencing a weird issue with my renderpasses atm, they all seem to perform visibility detection on the scenes backfaces globally.
![]() To the left you see the beauty, to the right the resulting diffuseMaterialColor pass (assigned to a group via pass contribution map). The geometry normals are all facing outwards, they are all set to be double sided, render globals are set to "both" and there are no "opposite" overrides assigned either. I've never experienced anything like that before - something must have changed between two increments of this scene as it was putting out correct passes before. I've quadruple checked my shape/group/render settings, rebuilt all contribution maps and passes, but still I keep ending up with the same result. Sadly, as I had to change a lot in a short time I can't roll back to one of the previous versions (no time since deadline monday is coming...) so I'll have to come up with a fix for this. I would extremely appreciate any hints/ideas what might be gonig on here :/ |
