Maya fur: Is it possible to transfer fur maps to a moved surface mesh?

I have come across a dilema with fur map baking. I have a character render rdy with his fur and everything applied in T-pose.

I want to go into zbrush to transpose the character. Is it possible to make the fur maps update with the moved fur map surfaces?

I hope I make sense. ^^;

Thank you for reading~
