Maya DMM Issue - Shattering

How would I go about fixing this? The walls are DMM Passives but the glass pieces still just fly through them. Is it maybe because the velocity is just far too high?

You could start by raising the simulation substeps in the DMM scene tab, which according to my understanding more or less determine the simulation accuracy and will more than likely need to be raised quite substantially for high speed collision calculations. Another thing you could try is to use a higher resolution base-object for the passive objects and/or raise the tet count on them once made into DMM objects.
