Cool CGFX Camera Projection Shaders


Just looking to see if someone has any ideas for a realtime useBackground shader. Mainly for in-viewport holdout mattes, and projecting backplates onto geo, etc. (Projection shaders are just TOO slow to interact with.)

Ive seen this setup at a previous studio years ago, and it was incredibly handy. I believe it was a cgFX shader that referenced the image plane sequence. (I have no idea where to start if I were to build my own)

Thought there might be something like this already out there.

Found some partial success!

This site has a great toolset for setting up CGFX camera projection shaders. Seems to be exactly what I was looking for except:
CGFX Shader, doesnt update for image sequences
doesnt exactly line up with the camera

Thanks for any ideas on getting a projection shader to work with CGFX viewport shaders.
