stereo cam not showing up in render globals

i can render out a stereo pair no prblem but i also need to render out left and right stereo cams individually. in other scenes i have they hsow up and i can add them as rendereable cams. in other scenes they dont show up.

ive found if i constrain a locater to them they sometimes show up...so ive been using that for a bit as a work around

in this scene now...of course...nada...soo annoying an dim on tight deadline. \

so can anyone give me an idea how to force the left and right stereo cam to show up as potential rendereable cams

thnx
