How to FBX export the Morpheus Rig properly

I have been trying to FBX export the Morpheus rig and then importing it into Houdini.

I select "Ralph_balance:all_anim"> do a Geometry Cache > export selection the "Ralph_balance:all_anim" > set preset to "Autodesk Media & Entertainment" and turning on Bake Animation > then I export it.

When importing it into Houdini, only the 4-arrowed World control on the bottom of the rig shows up, but the rest of the character doesn't.

I linked a zip file containing the scene with the rig and photos.

Not sure which version of maya you're using but can use the alembic format to export the geometry. It works great.

I am actually using Maya 2012, so I will try out the alembic once I download 2013. I think the trick for Morpheus is to somehow have the geometry independent from those controls unless someone else knows the trick.

Update: So I am trying to use Alembic in Maya 2013, but I keep getting errors.

When I load the plug-in, I get:

// AbcExport v1.0 using Alembic 1.0.4 (built Jan 16 2012 14:33:10)
// Error: Cannot find procedure "AlembicCreateUI". //

When I try to enter the AlembicCreateUI into the script editor I get his error:

// Error: source performAlembicExport;
// Error: Cannot find file "performAlembicExport" for source statement. //
// Error: source performAlembicImport;

Scratch that, it was solved when I uninstalled Maya 2012. I successfully imported the rig to Houdini. Thank you!
