Batch Render a timeline
Hi all, in Maya 2013 I created a cube and raised it off the ground and assigned a bullet active rigid body to it and created a series of rigid bodies below. Anyway I set the parameters for a heavy weight. I clicked play and it was nice to see the cube fall and bounce, cartwheel on the other rigid bodies.
I set the timeline to 245 frames, went into mental ray, set the start frame to 1 and the end frame to 245 and batch rendered the 245 frames. To my surprise, when it was finished, I note it batch rendered 245 identical replicas of the very first frame. On top of that each frame took about 30 seconds. What I wanted was to capture the animated rigid body as it bounced and rolled about on the other rigid bodies when I clicked play. What did I do wrong? |
