Unhappy Zooming out a round trolly track shot

Heyy guys I am kinda stuck on a tracking shot
The director shot a round trolly shot with a character(almost 90 degree rotation) with a focal length of 8mm
Now he wants to turn it into a helicopter shot (basically zooming out the whole thing)

I tracked the shot and i have a tracked camera with a focal length of 8 mm
when i hit the playblast, it is perfectly sticking to the track points...

For a helicopter shot...the focal length needs to be changed...
The problem starts when i change the focal length....the track slips...(for obvious reasons it will coz of perspective distortion)
How do I solve it??

Heres an image explaining the scene
this is from the top view
A guy is standing on a cliff(which has to be 3d)
The cream colored stuff is how it is shot
and the red colored stuff is how i want the shot to be like
