Animating Character with nCloth

Is it ok to wrap deform the clothes to my character while I animate it, and then use ncloth to simulate afterwards, or should I leave the clothes off him until I'm ready to sim?

I ask because my character is sitting and his hands do come in contact with his own body, and wondering if a wrap deformer to help me see where to animate would be ok, or would it screw it up later during siming?

EDIT: Wait, answered my own question. I can just duplicate to create wrap deformers, duh.
