will this laptop be ok with Maya 2013
I've mainly been using a Mac Pro with Maya over the years but I've finally decided to get a new PC laptop for a number of reasons - one of which is to use Maya 2013, Modo and Zbrush. I will likely continue to use my Mac Pro for most things but I need a PC laptop for travel and a few other things. This configuration was about $1k at costco and seemed worth paying a little more to get these specs. Just want to be sure the GeForce card here will be ok - I know that I'll likely want to get more ram at some point... Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Depends on what you need to do with the gfx card, but I run the GTX460M in my laptop and it performs well.
I've only really used 2013.5 though. __________________
