maya 2013 render error

hi guys,

i am trying to render an environment for my student showreel, it renders fine in maya with render view but when i try to batch render from the cmd line i get this message



any ideas? duno why it is asking for goz support since i am not even using zbrush with this scene...

A crude way would be to render within Maya instead of batch... lol

Anyway. If the file is saved as .ma, I'd start by opening it up in text editor and see what's in the first line. Maybe delete it if I think it won't affect my scene. Next I'll check that all paths and file names are in English and that none of them starts with numbers. Then I'll do a delete unused node.

If it still doesn't work, well, welcome to the world of rendering TD lol xD.

i will give this a shot,

yes i hate all the techy bits with rendering, i feel so stressed and sad about it that i think maybe i shud stick to drawing, its always the rendering that i have a choke point.

Here is a scene i am working on, i am getting blotchy white circles. I am assuiming it is something to do with the FG rays? It is set at 100 at the moment.



the light sources is just incandascence from a material.
