I have also posted a new video showing off some of its features

Hi... I love ninja tools.

I saw this thread an updated from 5.0 to 5.5 and now it shows this error (twice) when I open maya 2013 in win 7 64 bit, indicating that it does not find drive A: (which I don't have).

No problem if I revert it back to 5.0.

Any idea what I could change? My user_setup.mel stays the same...

Try to remove the NinjaAsset.mel from the Ninja_Dojo directory. You are the first person who has gotten this error. I dont have a drive letter A either but do not get this error. You can revert back to any version if you did purchase it directly thru me. But i would like you to help me debug this since you are the only person getting this error.

Actually disregard my previous post and try this.

C:\Users\username\Documents\maya\NinjaDojo\ directory.
Try deleteing the Ninja_Dojo.ini.

If that doesnt work try to delete all the files in that directory. Or at least move them out of that directory into a temp directory.

Nope, tried both and more

this is my usersetup:

(starting here)

scriptPackDeniseich;

//Save this in your \Users\Document\maya\MayaVersion\scripts\userSetup .mel
// Change the source path to where the Ninja_Dojo.mel lives
// Change the Directory to where Ninja Dojo lives

source "C:/Users/Eric/Documents/maya/2013-x64/scripts/Ninja_Dojo/Ninja_Dojo.mel";
Ninja_Dojo("C:/Users/Eric/Documents/maya/2013-x64/scripts/Ninja_Dojo/");

//Different Modes:
//DockRight is default so you can comment out the next line
//DockLeft docks to the left
//Bar will create a standard window
//Dual will create the dojo with a UV editor attached -- I would not use this yet
//Full will crate the full window version of Ninja Dojo

//Build_Ninja_Dojo_UI DockLeft;//DockLeft will dock the dojo to the left,

//this will load speed box at startup
Ninja_SpeedBox;

////////////////////////////////
// bonusTools userSetup.mel
////////////////////////////////
//
// if you have an existing userSetup.mel file you will need to append
// this code to have all the bonusTools available
// cut and paste the contents of this file into your existing userSetup.mel
// and restart maya to get the full effect

// scriptJob to rebuild menu as working mode changes
// removed for 2012
//scriptJob
// -permanent
// -event "MenuModeChanged" "bonusToolsMenu";

// build the menu the first time
bonusToolsMenu;

// publish (ctrl+RMB in channelBox)
// aka Quick Connect Attributes
// uncomment the next line if you wish to use this functionality
//publish;

///////////////////////////////////
// end bonusTools userSetUp.mel
///////////////////////////////////

// sIBL Port open
commandPort -n ( "127.0.0.1:" + `optionVar -q "sIBL_GUI_commandPort"` );

(ending here)

I don't have any drive A: neither... But there are so many things going on in my workstation, lots of custom windows services. But it's true it seems to happen just before loading your ini file as you suspected I think.

I think this has to do with my specific configuration, not necessarly Ninja - but it does it only with 5.5, weird huh?

P.S!! It.s fine! I mean I will revert to 5.0 but there are so many tools in ninja, don't trouble yourself too much with this.

actually i do want to fix this.. if it is caused by ninja dojo.

Try to run ninja dojo not at start-up.. i have had some issues when running it at start up. plus alot of that info in the userset is not valid anymore.

also there are a ton of improvements since 5.0

I have tried a lot of things, like swaping v5.0 and v5.5 files, and it seems that if I use the Ninja_Asset.mel from v5.0 with the rest of the v5.5 files, it does not come to the point where it asks for drive A:.. But it seems to stop loading, I know this doesn't mean much.

I'll try to catch v.6 I guess

AHP! Just read your last answer, and it works!

If I do not load it on startup, it's loads fine (from the script window)!!

yeah sometimes other scripts will conflict with it. In the help menu there is an option to create the Ninja Dojo Shelf. It will create a shelf with most the buttons you will need.

Glad it worked

Nice! Thanks for the heads up - should've used the download button instead of the add to cart one on creativeCrash, I guess
