render time terribly long after system change?

render time terribly long after system change?

Hi,
i start to render my project with my workstation and each frame generaly takes 5min. so i moved same files and project with the same setting in to another computer which almost the same speed with may workstation. When i press render button i took a night to render one frame! and that wasnt even finished.

what should i do?

rendererer mental ray
system 1; i7 2600k 8gb ram
systen 2; i7 3610qm 16gb ram

Is core usage at 100% on the new system?

yes. usage of the ram and cpu is the same with other system. it is calculating something forever but i dont know what that is is because the other one is just fine.

Are you using a final gather, photon map, or some other sort of indirect illumination? If so, it's possible that your other machine is attempting to generate these maps for you on its own. In order to correct this, you'll need to point to the generated maps location on your other machine.
