Camera Projection problem...
I'm trying to do a camera projection in Maya. Seems really simple. This is the image I'm using for my test.
Created a new camera.
Set the image as the image plane and set cameras resolution gate to fill.
Created a new shader. Mapped a file as a projection into the diffuse slot. Selected the image as the projection image. Linked my projection to the proper camera.
Projection Type = Perspective
Fit Type = Match Camera Resolution.
Fit Fill = Fill
When I hit the render button though, the projection is off. It isn't lined up correctly. What's going on? Am I missing something? It's strange because when I go into the projection's place2dtexture node I changed the U and V coverage to .9 and the U and V translate frame to .1 then it lined up perfectly.
What's that all about? I'm confused. I followed several tutorials to the letter and have yet to get a proper result.
