Hi!
What parameter in Fur is responsible for change of tip? What to receive the such.
Length map it is impossible.

GREAT SCOTT!

If I understand you correctly... and I can't.... I presume you want to get rid of the hash line of the top of the geometry?

Depending on the material type you've chosen to use, ie. maya blinn or mia_mat, you apply a black and white texture into transparency (or with mia_material it's called a cut-out map, I think).

I recommend you use hair (now nHair) instead of fur. Filling the space with follicles will be more work, but you will get better control over the shape.
