Haven't forgotten about this I just got extremely busy with some on site work and am just getting settled back into the office. Lots of catching up to do

The team investigated the issue and tracked down where the bug exists and is looking at solutions. I can't say when this will be addressed or fixed but hopefully there's a bit of reassurance that we're aware of the problem and what's caused it.

Again I apologize for the delay but the past couple months have been a little hectic for me.

Shawn McClelland,

I really appreciate your feedback on this.
Please update this issue if possible, when this issue will be finally fixed and how we could possibly update our faulty installations.

Me and I am sure others as well, are looking forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

I don't want to downplay the issue, but I'm pretty certain that we can all forget about ever getting a free fix for this. Maybe there will be one with the next paid update. That's apparently just how AD works and I'm assuming Shawn is getting his hands tied on this either by direct order or plain lack of corporate cooperation. I personally have already given up on a fix. But then I am also one who's fed up with AD to begin with and will not renew my software subscriptions this year. This issue is just one of many that I'm really fed up with.

I spent several hours trying to get this to work before seeing this thread. Now I find out it was just a waste of time? I got enough of a headache with bugs, now non-existent features? Really?

maybe there will be a fix before the new maya 2014 release? but anyway this is not a nice move for the customers...

Sorry to resurrect, but what happened about this? I don't see it mentioned in the service pack notes.

STILL WAITING for an official feedback on this....
... with a final fix and NOT just a promise to be seen in eternity...

I think I know the topic of the next Maya 2014 sneak peak video.

keep your fingers crossed
Heights of great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they while their companions slept were toiling upwards in the night.

nice, more than 6 month to fix a feature which never worked..
good work AD. I think I'll switch back to Alias Maya 4.5

I guess the fix won't come as a pay2fix update of the new 2014 version, would it ?
We have paid 2012-2013 to have the feature as promised...

Just hope AD won't let us down once again!

STILL waiting...
