Thanks guys! Still testing and tweaking here while using it on a job, should be ready to share soon.
Why does the GUI always take the bulk of the time when making tools like this ? heh, It works a little better now though in that the window auto-resizes when you close the meshes list and go into 'working' mode. I guess I could go the QT route but I like having something that's self contained in one script, seems simpler for general distribution.

Brian

Wow. That's super awesome.

How did you create the line art? I see it keeps its form even when you rotate the camera. Super sweet.

ohhh...looks wonderful!

Thanks guys, it's actually pretty simple in how it works, it makes use of the pfxToon node for the outlines.

Hey Folks, it's ready to download now.. I've tried it with practically every character rig I have here and it works with all of them now

Follow this link to a video tutorial I made on using it, the download link is in the comments just below. Hope you find this useful!

You're very welcome, really pleased people are finding this useful.

Jason Ryan (Dreamworks/iAnimate) told me he'll be showing it to his students in his live demo this week which I have to admit made me feel very proud

Brian

Hey Folks,

bhGhost has a new update, it's now version 1.06 and has a new command for adding shelf buttons to ghost specific characters. This was something I wanted while working on a recent job to make it quicker to switch from character to character. Check out a short video here showing the update - https://vimeo.com/55820912

Cheers,
Brian

Hey animators, bhGhost now has been updated to 1-08. The new feature is that if you highlight a range of keys in the timeslider with some controllers selected only the keys get ghosted. A feature request from Jason Ryan (iAnimate/Dreamworks), the man who's lecture inspired this in the first place so of course I had to add it
