Annoying UI issue

Hey guys, this is probably a ridiculous problem, but when in perspective view, if I hit "7" to show lights in the scene...how do I turn this off to just show the default lighting?

Also, if I hit "8", it switches to Paint Effects and I cant ever get out of it. Even if I switch the view to whatever it was before (perspective) it just shifts the Paint Effects view over to another window...and if I try to change THAT window, it just shifts it to the previous window.

Driving me insane!

after pressing 7 to get rid of all scene lights press 6. after pressing 8 you see paint effect window. to get rid of this, press and hold space, select and hold the option Maya with LMB and select perspective view.

I've remapped my 8 key to be: "shaded, use no lights" as there's very little chance I will ever need to use paintEffects and this kept bugging me too when I kept hitting 8 by accident (yes, I have big, clum8y fin8ers)
