It looks fantastic and the best, its free!

@Holycause: Maybe you can write to the author and ask him for techniques etc. for improving your (also very good) script.

We will see how far we can go with this script.

No, I didn't mean this negative. Infact I am very happy to see that many are working for such stuff and it's all good for max. I am also beta testing david lanier's shaders but not getting much time out of work.

I really liked your script and how ocean object is coming out. Infact it's really cool that you made with max procedural stuff and it used max plane primitive (no other special plane object) , so probably we can apply other modifiers as well on the plane.

Few things I would like to see in future release,

1. Adaptive mesh (so far making ocean, if camera is just above the surface it requires lots of subdivision on ocean plane near camera, So I generally makes 3 level boxes surrounding area of camera and using volume select (mesh selection) and meshsmooth by selections to subdivide that particular portion of plane. This way I get more subdivision near camera)

So far meshsmooth doesn't have or smooth/subdivision modifier doesn't have subdividing the plane based on "soft selection" of object. So it doesn't make plane complete adaptive though.

I would like to see adaptive plane feature.

2. Foams based on collision (like Dave mentioned before)

3. Ship foams/wakes support.

excuse my english plz.

One another useful feature Idea would be: Render Segments

Viewport Segs (already there)

+

Render Segs (could be added for better scene handling

just a Idea

I'm first, yes! Installing now. Though you've totally distracted me from what I was supposed to work on this morning.

Thanks a lot for releasing the beta, I'll try it asap.

I guess the change in post order is some bug with the forum clock, it happens from time to time.
