Cylinder Subdivision

I'm new to 3ds max and need help increasing the amount of longitudinal rings so I have a higher poly cylinder. Can anyone help me with this?

create your cylnder, then while still in create mode, you can use the panel to the right to add whatever you want.

you can also just create the cylinderp, right click to end create mode, and click on the modify tab next to the create tab on the right side panel.

that will give you the same editable parameters.

but i would check out the autodesk documenatation and youtube for beginners.
