Bend a plane?

Hi, probably a simple question, im wondering how i can bend a plane in 3ds max?
I previously used Maya and im looking for a feature similar the non-linear deformer.
Is there a feature like this in 3ds max?

thanks

Bend modifier.

Make sure the plane has enough segments.

You may also want to look at the FFD modifier.

you can also use splines, which are alot easier to use than maya's nurbs curves,

once you make a line, like the side outline of a scroll, you can use the Extrude modifier.

just have to look at the Autodesk documentation to understand how splines can be manipulated with the different bezier handles.

edit: on the bend modifier you can open up the tree on the modifier and move the gizmo to change what the bend modifier affects. ie move the orange bounding box around your object
