Infocenter Error

Im having trouble with the Autodesk Infocenter...
Especially on the renderfam it keeps crashing and thus preventing 3DS Max to start on some rendernodes.
I found a little script on scriptspot to prevent it from loading, but either it doesnt work with Max 2013 (though one commenter said it to be working with Max 2014) or Im doin it wrong...:

For some reason I cant login there right now, so Id appreciate any help!

What (if any) error message are you getting?

Do you have any Product Updates installed, if so which ones?

Thank you,

Try this in maxroot>scripts>startup folder

Takes out all the useless nonsense from the top toolbar, works in 2014.

As an afterthought, I always block WSCommCntr4.exe with my firewall, the script doesn't stop the exe running, maybe what's causing your issue.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\WSCommCntr4\lib\WSCommCntr4.exe

Actually...blocking it via the firewall seems to worsen the problem for me...
