Max 2014 crash on exit

Does anyone experience a crash when you exit 3ds Max 2014?

Mine almost always crashes without any error message or problem to report. Just a windows dialog saying it crashed and it will close.
"3ds Max application has stopped working"

UI changes get saved and all that so it seems that nothing gets lost.

With or without SP1, W7 or W8, different system, it doesn't matter.

Anyone else?

It was a clean windows install and a clean 3ds Max install.

I tried different things including removing AppData folder in Autodesk but I cannot locate the problem.

What I do know, is that it does not happen when 3ds Max is closed after launch without doing anything in the startup scene. Or what also helps sometimes, is to Reset File before you exit.

Are you getting a Customer Error Report (CER) pop-up and if so are you submitting the CER?

I can look it up and see whats going on if so.

As a note, CERs are watched very closely and we make fixes based on the top CERs that people encounter. We encourage everyone to please submit any CERs you get.

No, because 3ds Max exits and saves settings and all that but the process remains in the Task Manager list until after 5 seconds it throws the crash, which is not the CER you get when 3ds Max crashes normally.

Crash message: "3ds Max application has stopped working, windows can check online for a solution to the problem."

When the message shows, the process is still in the Task Manager.

In My case even a reset doesnt work..still shows the error at the end of the session, i tried unistalling forest pack beta 4.1.0 and vray 2.40.04 , but still nothing...

Now im trying to update win7 as there were many upadtes lacking, but i doubt htis will solve the issue

Oh im no getting the CER pop up either.

Nildo

EDIT: Just as I suspected, updating the OS (win7 64) didnt help either.
