color correction map broken in 3ds 2014?

color correction map broken in 3ds 2014?

I canīt make this to work. here's the link of an official tutorial for the color correction.

By following every single step , and double checking it all, I still canīt make it work, the texture does not appear tinted by the color correction map no matter what.

Is anything wrong with this tutorial or with my instalation? Could anyone try it real quick and tell me if they can tint a map like it is explained in the official tutorial above?

Check the autodesk area and do a search for the color correct map, there's a thread there that I believe answers why you're not seeing the expected results.

I remember the mentioned thread...

It had to do with the fact that the old CC node used to multiply by the color, while the new one adds.

(or was it the other way around, I forget)

I think it's that the new one multiplies only the Hue (Hence Hue Tint) instead of multiplying the entire color.
