Changing Tp Particle Groups With Realflow Particles

Has anyone tried this?

It doesn't seem like it can be done the usual TP way (with events etc)

If I set up the imported particles to change object shape as they hit a deflector nothing happens. Works fine with a regular TP setup but not with Realflow Particles so I am scratching my head.

Has anyone found a way around this?

Generate new particles from them, set reference, and PAttach to the reference. Now you can do whatever to the new particles, and they will follow the imported ones.
