Vehicle window glass shader - edges? mr

Attached is a screenshot.

I've got a mr Arch des glass shader applied to solid geometry. I have a black/white mask in the transparency slot mapped to the front face of the glass which gives the black opaque edges and the dots. This is piped through an output and inverted into the diffuse (more or less).

Problem is: I don't want to see the edge & dots on the front and back glass surfaces. The edgedots should just be glued to the back facing surface.

However if I map the mask to the back facing surface, it is invisible when looking from the camera.

Is there a better way to do this without creating additional geometry?
