Ocean Ripples/waves Modifier stack

Hello all!

I am trying to create some tileable ocean waves/ripples using the modifier stack no plugins, as I dont have any.
Can someone share with me maybe a scene or tecnhique of how I can achieve this result.

Well, I ususally start with some waves modifier, add some noises in different scales, and top everything with a displace mod.
