Having a problem about transparency.

So, I actually just import a model and texture from game, didn't make them.

By using nifskope, i convert the texture to dds file, so I can import them using 3ds max.

However the dds not display correctly in max, it was fine in nifskope.

Here is how the chain supposed to look( from the nifskope )

But here how it's look in 3ds max

How to make those black become transparent ?

Sorry for my bad english ..

You need to attach the alpha map to the opacity slot of the texture.
First, you'll want to check "Mono Channel Output" as "Alpha" on the bitmap, and then attach an instance into the opacity slot of the target texture.

EDIT:
You may also need to change "Alpha Source" to "Image Alpha".
