Question Animation defrom while keeping a natural look

Dear forum members,

I've been working on an object that is ment to be stretched out of its original form in a natural way. imagine you have a V-shape object and you want to pull it appart it becomes a straight line. The thing is that my object also has round forms in it I want to pull out.

I've tried it with the morpher modifier, but round forms don't do well in this animation, and I know I should make more between phases to make it look more fluent, but the client an I dont know yet how that between phase is supposed to look like, because the product is not there yet. That's the goal of the project.

unfortunately I can't tell too much about the project so I hope I gave enough information.

Yours faithfully,
Keerlof

Could you do this with cloth?
Or maybe a softbody in Massfx?

Thanks for you awnser, but it's not really what I'm looking for.

Is has to like bend, without using the bend modifier. The object I'm trying to animate consist of multible objects. So, when I bend one, the other one also has to be bend. and when animation that would mean I have to animate evry single keyframe.
I could do that and it worked in some sort, but there has to be a better way.
