Hair Gradient ramp - root to tip

Hi,

I would like to have a grandient ramp to control the color of the Hair&Fur from root to tip. I remember doing this by changing something in the settings of the gradient ramp but I can't figure it out again.

Any help?

im pretty sure i've done the same thing by rotaing the gradient 90°.
Not sure which axis it was but i think it was the W angle.

I tried 90 degrees on each or them and I'm still not getting it...

Also, I'm using MR prime with VRay.

Well, turns out the 90 degree trick only work when rendering hair in "geometry" not "MR prime". I'll have to make it work with the "VrayHairInfoTex" map that give me the option of a color for the root and tip but no complex gradient.
