How to make object follow a deforming surface?

Hi everybody, first time poster

I have a question regarding little project of mine i'm working on. Here's the deal: I have created a female character face, rigged it and all, created morph targets and then I realized that I have completely forgotten about modeling eye lashes. I have already created animation for eyes and now I have to attach newly created eyelashes to the eye lids. Model is fairly simple, all I need to do is to make 4-5 vertices of eyelashes to follow the corresponding vertices on my eyelids. What is the fastest and easiest way to this?

Thank you very much in advance!

LinkedXform or some MaxScript would work too.

Maybe you can use principles described in the tutorial

I've tried the attachment constraint but I couldn't get a satisfactory result, I've also tried the linked Xform but I couldn't get it to work properly so I just went ahead and attached eyebrows as element to my head object and changed my morphs from accordingly. Took me a couple of hours (I've had a lot of morphs) but it's looking good now.

Anyhow, thanks for your replies, I've learned something new and Snanook that tutorial looks very useful, thx for sharing.
