V-Ray DR not work when the scene file is very big.

I'm using V-Ray 2.0. My max file is 1.3GB. When I render it using DR with 2 node. The slave node is not working. The log detail is in attachment.

I think it's caused by the max file size. It's too big to transfer to the slave node.Sometimes the log shows [Scene transferred to unknown], after render finished. Sometimes it's [Scene transferred to rendersrv2003-4], before render finished. rendersrv2003-4's IP address is 192.168.1.84. Both, only central node works and slave node is not rendering.

The network speed is 1Gb and the V-Ray version is same. And when I render a small file, slave node works.

How can I solve this?

Is it just the max file that's large or does the scene link to a lot of textures? Given your network speed I shouldn't think that a 1.3GB files should be a problem, although admittedly it is bigger than and Max file I've worked with so there could be a cap I'm not aware of.

A couple of things you could try to narrow down the problem:

Delete half of the scene and see if the DR slave kicks in.
Send the scene to the slave via Backburner and see if it throws up any errors.
Save out some of the heavier objects as proxies to a network location and see if it renders.

Hope that's of some help.
