Vray environment fog density: falloff (shadow/light)
I am trying some tests with Vray environment fog (which I like over the standard volume fog because you can pick an object for a gizmo).
I am trying to set a map (falloff) into a "fog density" slot).
I have succeeded placing noise, smoke, or any 3D map into the slot, and it works great, however falloff map (even it's 3D map) doesn't seems to work at all.
What I want?
I want to use one object, and one light. To make that object foggy, but only in parts where lights lighten the object (other parts (in shadow) to be transparent).
I wanted to use falloff map (set within a shadow/light mode) in fog density map (which is basically transparent map for the fog) to achieve that effects. However, it seems that is not working. Every other 3D map works, but not falloff.
Any tip to force fog density to use falloff?
I hope I explained this well, let me know if you need a screen shot of the problem.
