[Bug] Crashing on Export (FBX)

im currently working on a project that involves 3Ds Max and UDK. What im trying is to export my mesh into UDK as an FBX file. Im only able to export my mesh as OBJ or ASE, though i really need to export as FBX directly and whenever i try it keeps crashing as soon as i name my file and hit ďokĒ.

I tried exporting as OBJ, importing it and exporting again but as FBX, and that seems to avoid the crashing. The thing is that when i do this to avoid the error it messes up my unit scales and when i finally have the FBX file and import to UDK, it isnt on the right scale anymore.
Iíve already configured it to generic units and all, so i just canít seem to find out why it crashes first place.

If anyone had experienced this problem or knows something about it, please let me know.

Oftentimes if you don't have the latest .fbx plugins installed it tends behave like this. Make sure you're up to date.

I've updated the last one, 2013, on this link:

But been crashing still. :/

Have you tried the 'actorx' exporter plugin? I have always entirely avoided .fbx as I find it to be very unreliable.
