FBX Collada exporter issue
First time posting in this forum, but not first time posting this problem. :(
I'm making a game for Android, and I need to import meshes to it. I choosed the Collada file format (.dae) because it is simple to read and use.
I did a simple mesh in 3DS max 2013, apply 3 different materials to it and exported it as a .dae.
The problem is, for each material I used, the .dae say to redraw the entire mesh, like... I have to draw the entire mesh 3 times. I expected to draw 3 distinctive parts of the mesh with each of the 3 materials instead. :(
I used the material Id and multi/sub material for my mesh, but it seems not to work as I expected.
Did someone else encountered this issue? How did you proceed to fix it?
