wave rigging tutorial

Hi all,
I wondered if anybody could point me to a wave rigging tutorial in 3ds max. I've been looking for 3 days.
Chris Harvey give some excellent information on this thread
http://forums.cgsociety.org/archive...p/t-622072.html

I downloaded his max file.
It uses splines that use a morpher modifier, editable polys as control objects and a skin wrap modifier on the sea plane.

Its a bit beyond my level and I can't figure out how it all fits together, so if anybody knows of any online tutorials that explains this that would be great

many thanks
s

You did download the file? How so? I tried and the link is broken. If I could get the file maybe I could offer some help to you. As I saw, they rely on some progressive morphing and loft shapes to achieve the effect. Can you post the file here?

I tried downloading from that link but apparently I'm not able to do so. I took the file you posted, I'm gonna see what I can learn from it and give you some feedback.
