Animation lighting issues - flickering

I am a student learning 3ds max 2011 for an architecture animated walk through. However, every time I render the animation (24 frames per second, 4300 frames total), the light keeps flickering, especially around the windows. I am using Mental ray and its interior lighting preset. A majority of the objects are imports from either sketchup or .dwg from revit (not sure if these could be to blame). Some other objects give off a sparkle as well, usually if they have some sort of a gloss applied to the material. I am not sure if this is a model import issue or if it is an issue pertaining to final gathering and the indoor light preset. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

In render setting, under the Final Gather
please turn on project points from positions along camera path
& divide camera path by num segment to - 9
