Rebuilding Symmetrical Geometry with non-symmetrical UV's

Hello all, I'm in a bit of a pickle and was curious if any of you could help me out a bit.
I've almost finished making a female character for a game. However being a man I modeled the breasts a bit too large and the clothing I'm trying to create aren't coming out the way I want. So I resized them to a more average proportion. The question I have is; is it possible to work in symmetry similarly to Zbrush (without paid-plugins) and if not is there some sort of work around to add a symmetry modifier and yet keep the same Uv's?
Thanks in advance.
