Quick/fast third-party content survey

Hi, we put together a simple survey with a few questions around whether you purchase or download third-party content for your 3D projects. Even if you don't, we'd like to hear your voice in the survey as to why you don't. The survey shouldn't take more than 3 minutes, much less if you don't use third-party content.

I don't do that job anymore, so I have zero idea of those details. I have seen a vastly increased interest in stability and performance in this release cycle, I hope you've experienced some of it in the product updates.

Hey Ken! Just answered the survey.

How things going with you? You're too much of a nice guy to disappear from the forums as you did! I've heard you're not too involved with Max anymore (which is a pity), but I do hope the best for you in whatever is your current position.

Cheers!

I'm good, thanks for asking. I haven't spoken up more because my role keeps changing, but it seems to have settled down, so I think I can describe it soon in my blog. It's taken a lot longer than I expected.

Frank Delise has 3ds Max covered now, which I think is great for the product.

For those that don't know, Frank was involved with 3dsmax back in version 2.5! And was product manager for 3dsmax 3 and 4.

Ken, maybe you can ask him to come say hello on here if everything's settled down on the East Coast?

3dsmax 4... best 3dsmax EVER!

I'm looking forward 3dsmax 2014...

BTW, I miss when people bashed 3dsmax and autodesk and Ken still kindly answered everybody.

I miss my role as "communicator-in-chief" too. It was a challenge and I learned a lot from all of you about how to handle myself on the forums.

Thanks for giving us a couple minutes of your time with the survey.
