mcloth character clothing

Hi there,

I'm trying to simulate clothing on a character mesh with mcloth. the clothing is simple geometry but subdivided for testing purposes. Is mcloth a possible solution for this as I find it faster than the original cloth modifier? I can't get it to work properly.
the character got an massfx rigid body set to kinematic. see screenshots.

with the standart cloth modifier it works as expected. I'm just curious what mcloth is for / if its possible to use mcloth instead

I appreciate any help!

If you would like to post your scene file, I can make some suggestions.

mCloth was not made for complex things. It's fast and simple, that's it. If you want to do more complex things like charater clothing, use Cloth.
