All vertices shifted along Y Axis?

Rather annoying issue I have run into all my vertices have shifted along the Y axis. I do not know exactly what could have caused this, apart from the wing it also affected objects I did not have selected. Not sure when it happened, dubstep is rather good at making me forget how much time has gone by.

It seems to be by a random small amount, and when I click on the vertex max still shows it as being exactly at the grid point I put it at. I can get it to snap back properly if I move it around a bit first. Any one know what can cause this, so I can prevent it in the future?

Also is there a way to get them all realigned at one time? I would rather not waste hours moving each single one. Plus it'll make my brain short out from OCD.

Can't you just select them all and align Y ?
Max does have an annoying habit of rounding off things, I'm not sure how to avoid it.

Failing that , there's a little script I use to ease the copy paste vertex position fiddle & faff.

Check here at the bottom of the page...

You can assign copy / paste vertex to shortcuts.

maybe helps
