TurboSmooth Pro released

No more annoying support loops

TurboSmooth Pro is a modifier plugin for 3ds Max which produces nice smooth semi-sharp creases on your models, unlike the ugly creases that the standard TurboSmooth produces. TurboSmooth Pro also give you the ability to have linear UVs which in some cases can help in the texturing pipeline.

Wow, that's awesome, that completely changes the subdivision process, I've always hated having to add in loops for the rounded edges, this makes it much easier.

Great job on all these tools, great prices as well.

This man can do what Autodesk has not done in years, Quad Chamfer, Reversion Subdivision, Morpher tension, shape, radial symmetry, Jiggle, Pro Turbosmooth, are just a few examples.

Of course, he is at liberty to do what he wants. He isn't having to support the software used by millions of people while trying to grow the application across multiple market segments. Very different business models, needs, and requirements.

Marius, keep up the good work by providing tools to give users options in how they work.

The real question is : how come some Max tools dont behave properly since their inception and have never been fixed, namely chamfer and turbosmooth, and the user has to resort to 3rd party solutions...

p.s. Great work once again, Marius

Nice work Marius. I bought your Projection painter and Turbo reverse recently, I like them also.

Thank you for making this, looks great. Could you provide some examples how this plugin manages very sharp creases? And how many iterations does a basic box need to display nice sharp creases?

Thanks,
- Ebee

Awesome. Would also be interested in seeing how sharp the crease can get without looking wrong.

Also, what's the policy on render slaves plugin loading?

The more iterations the better the creases will look.

It depends on how many iterations you got.

About the render farm. You can use it on a render farm without purchasing additional licences. Read the full EULA here http://www.mariussilaghi.com/eula
